THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO HELP PASCO
Metropolitan Ministries is an outreach center that provides essential services such as food, clothing, and shelter assistance to families in financial distress.
Beyond the essentials, we also offer a place for inspiring, authentic worship services as well as Christian educational opportunities and small group ministries where people of all ages can grow in mind and spirit while finding friendship and forging life-changing relationships.
As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on the generosity of others to fulfill our purpose and to aid as many persons as possible who need a helping hand.
Monetary and in-kind donations
Financial donations are always needed. Any amount will make a difference in the lives of families in distress. Secure online donations
designated PASCO.
Donations of food and other material items are also gratefully accepted:
- non-perishable foods
- back-to-school items
- hygiene products
- cleaning products
- baby items
- clothing for adults, teens, children, and infants
All donations to Metropolitan Ministries in Pasco are tax-deductible.
Giving of yourself - Volunteer
The success of Metropolitan Ministries in Pasco is dependent on a workforce of volunteers. There are a variety of opportunities for those who wish to give of their time and talents, for example:
- greeting visitors and answering phones at the resource center
- sorting donations, helping visitors select food & clothes as a "personal shopper"
- teaching classes or leading small groups
- seasonal opportunities to volunteer at Summer Camp in the summer and in the Holiday Center at Thanksgiving and Christmas
Do you have special talents or abilities that you could share? Do you enjoy working with kids? Are you a computer whiz? Can you do construction work or odd jobs? We can find a place for you!
Volunteer orientation sessions are held on the second and fourth Mondays of every month at 10:00 AM, with occasional sessions on Saturdays. In addition, Monday afternoon sessions are held during preparation for summer and holiday programs. To sign up for orientation and to discuss volunteer opportunities, please contact Nancy Dougherty, Outreach Director, at (727) 937-3268.

Prayer
If you have physical limitations, time constraints, or a tight budget, we ask that you simply pray for the success of Metropolitan Ministries and for the families we help.
We are grateful for any assistance in helping to serve more families in more communities. Thank you!
