Be Hope for the Holidays

Posted by Ariel DeWitt on September 14, 2016

Hello my name is Hope, actually it’s ‘Holiday Tent.’   I am a place where people from all ages and all walks of life — volunteers, donors, congregations, businesses, schools, and those in need — come together to witness the giving and receiving that exemplify community and allow miracles to happen.   Food, prayer, toys, and love are offered to those who are suffering and in need of help.   And that’s what the holiday spirit is all about.

With the help of the community, 18,000 families received holiday food and toys in 2015.  There was joy in the air, smiles on their faces, and hearts full of hope.  Without people like you, it simply would not have been possible.   This year is expected to be equally challenging.  Our neighbors are hurting and hungry.

On the outside, I’m just a Tent.  But on the inside, through your generous donations and volunteering, I am a beacon of hope.
