Special Events Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Ministries!

Hosting an event to benefit Metropolitan Ministries is one more way you can help poor and homeless families living in our community.

When considering partnering with an outside organization on a special event-whether lending the Ministries' name and/or its resources, or as the beneficiary of any funds raised from that event- the event itself and the sponsoring organization must meet certain criteria.  In addition, you must receive written approval from Metropolitan Ministries Special Events Committee before the Ministries' name, affiliation and logo can be used on any promotional materials.

If you would like the Ministries to benefit from a special event you are having at your work place, faith community, school, civic group or other type of organization, please contact Ana Maria Mendez at (813) 209-1264 or anamaria.mendez@metromin.org.

The Ministries ask you submit your event for approval 3 months prior (this does NOT apply to food drives) to the scheduled date.  Thank you for your interest in Metropolitan Ministries.  We sincerely appreciate your continued support!

Please note in order to use our name and/or logo to promote you event, we ask that you have the consent of the Ministries to avoid confusion if someone contacts us about your event.  Please fill out and return the special events form 3 months prior to your event.
