Food, toys and prayer are offered to those in desperate need, but the true spirit of the Holiday Tent is that it provides an opportunity to build community.
The Holiday Tent is a special place where more than 100,000 people from all walks of life, all faiths, all races, different socioeconomic backgrounds—donors, volunteers, partners, civic leaders, corporations, small businesses, congregations, and those in need—all come together and love one another. It’s a one-of-a-kind place where you will witness the giving and receiving that exemplify community and allow miracles to happen. It is only through a unified community (including more than 10,000 volunteers) that we will be able to help more than 18,000 hurting families this season.
The Holiday Tent 2017 is underwritten by USAA.
