For over 35 years Metropolitan Ministries has served poor and homeless men, women, and children in the Tampa Bay region. As we celebrate 35 Years of Hope, we reflect on the tremendous accomplishments made possible through the generous donations of the Tampa Bay community. Together, we have made it possible for 522,200 families to be served through Outreach Services, nearly 23 million hot meals have been prepared and 354,520 safe haven shelter nights have been provided.

The Ministries has gone from a single room food pantry, to one of America’s most effective and innovated caregivers. We serve approximately 100-150 families daily through Outreach Services and offer a variety of supportive programs. 80 children and 40 adults call Metropolitan Ministries their home every night. The Ministries remains committed to breaking the cycle of poverty… today, tomorrow and always.
