We are accountable to families we serve and the donors who invest in our families. Accountability starts from within. Every employee at Metropolitan Ministries is responsible for creating goals that support our strategic plan.

We believe in results. But we’re not about to be conservative with our goals

Our staff is fully committed to focusing on our mission of alleviating suffering, promoting dignity and instilling self-sufficency to those we serve in our community. The balance score card helps us measure our goals. In addition to tracking at our outcomes, we measure our processes and procedures.

In order for us to achieve excellent outcomes, we know we need to invest in our employees’ training, certifications, and develop future leaders. We offer free online training to all employees, leadership development programs and much more.

Our culture at Metropolitan Ministries has earned us the Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces for 4 years in a row.

The Center for Creative Leadership program at Eckerd College was outstanding. Quality instructors, top shelf materials and exercises, first class location. Would recommend to all.
- James Driggers, Maintenance Supervisor

Dale Carnegie training helped me to see areas where I need to improve in a fun and light-hearted way. My work and home relationships have become better as a direct result of what I learned in the classes. It was very practical and helped me to identify specific behaviors that are keeping me from being successful in my work and home life. I highly recommend it!
