METROPOLITAN MINISTRIES WILL FEED 6,000 PEOPLE ON THANKSGIVING DAY

After providing 5,100 families in their holiday tents and via partner sites with food ‘Boxes of Hope’ for Thanksgiving (600 still coming on Tuesday and 300 on Wednesday), Metropolitan Ministries will once again open its doors to the community offering a traditional Thanksgiving meal, fellowship and hope.  Homeless families and individuals and those in need can come to Metropolitan Ministries’ main campus for a meal and worship service to celebrate Thanksgiving.

“Thanks to a community that has united and rallied around us, there are many people in Tampa Bay who’s Thanksgiving will be just a little brighter because of the simple fact that they receive a meal and somebody cares about them,” said Metropolitan Ministries President and CEO Tim Marks. “Our donors, partners and volunteers have come through for us in a big way this year. It truly has been a team effort.”
