VOLUNTEER SERVICES - NEEDS OF THE MONTH

Volunteer Services: Would you like to assist with the coordination of volunteers & join the friendly team that welcomes the community to serve at Metropolitan Ministries? We are looking for a few people to volunteer on Mondays anytime between 9:00-4:00 and/or various times throughout the week. You could also assist with some of the special events that happen at Metropolitan Ministries.

Driver Assistance: Did you know that our trucks go out almost every day to pick up and drop off donations? Do you like volunteering early in the morning? Then come help us pick up donations and supplies and drop off deliveries that help thousands of families each year. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Days variable, start time is 7:30 am.

Environmental Services: Ever wonder how our campus stays so fresh and clean looking? Volunteers make that happen! We need help anytime during the work week, 8:00-3:30 pm.

Painters: We are looking for someone with semi-professional skills. We have public areas that needs some attention.

Skilled Labor: One of our local community partner sites is in need of skilled volunteers. The Tampa Heights Community & Youth Center needs carpenters, drywallers, etc. Please call Lena at 813.407.2376 for more details.
