Receptionist/DP Clerk - Part Time (2 positions 7am-12pm and 11am-4pm)
Minimum Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:  HS diploma and minimum of three years experience working within a school setting. 
  • Communication:  Must have the ability to communication effectively orally and written in English; Spanish a plus but not required.  Must be able to work with a minimum of direct supervision and work as a team member.  Must have a heart for ministry and possess the comfort level necessary to work with poor and homeless individuals and families.  Good skills with Microsoft Office and Word skills (data entry) preferred.
  • Other:  Must be able to pass all background testing requirements.  Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States.

Early Childhood Teacher - Full Time
Minimum Requirements
:

  • Education and Experience:  HS diploma or GED completed; CDA or CDA-E/ECA School Age Certificate required.   Previous childcare experience is preferred.
  • Communication:  Must be able to communicate effectively in English both oral and written; bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.  Must be familiar with computer especially Microsoft Outlook and Word.  Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; dependable; demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity, ability to plan and organize work and attend to detail.
  • Other:  Must pass applicable pre-employment screenings.  Ability to accomodate a flexible work schedule during the holidays;  support the team in other tasks as assigned.

Children's Activity Assistant - Full Time 2pm - 8pm
Minimum Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: HS diploma or GED completed; 40 hour mandated training preferred; Previous childcare experience is desirable.
  • Communication:  Must be able to communicate effectively in English both oral and written; bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.  Must be familiar with computer especially Microsoft Outlook and Word.  Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; dependable; demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity, ability to plan and organize work and attend to detail.
  • Other:  Must pass applicable pre-employment screenings.  Ability to accomodate a flexible work schedule during the holidays; support the team in other tasks as assigned.

Childcare Assistant - 3 Full Time
Minimum Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: HS diploma or GED completed; Previous childcare experience is desirable.
  • Communication:  Must be able to communicate effectively in English both oral and written; bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.  Must be familiar with computer especially Microsoft Outlook and Word.  Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; dependable; demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity, ability to plan and organize work and attend to detail.

Toddler Teacher - Full Time
Minimum Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:  HS diploma or GED completed. CDA , CPR and First Aid required. Previous childcare experience is desirable.
  • Communication:   Bi-lingual in Spnanish a plus.  Must be able to communicate effectively in English both oral and written.  Must demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity; ability to handle job related matters in a professional and diplomatic manner.
  • Other:  Required to pass background screening and drug testing.

Coordinator of Youth Programs - Full Time
Minimum Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:  A minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree in behavioral or social science field related area.  Knowledge of homeless issues with experience working with individuals with mental health/substance abuse issues and/or be willing to seek continuing education related to the homeless population.
  • Communication:  Must be able to communicate effectively in English both written and orally; bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.  Must demonstrate a maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture and other sources of diversity.  Computer skills, including Microsoft Office necessary.
  • Other:  Must be able to pass all background and drug testing screens.

Childcare/YouthCare On Call Personnel - approximately 20 hours a month
Minimum Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:  High School diploma or GED completed; previous childcare experience is desirable; interested in college students in Elementary Education or Social Services programs.  Must be able to work flexible shifts Monday through Friday.
  • Communcation:  Must be able to communicate effectvely in English both written and orally; fluency in Spanish a plus;  Must demonstrate a maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture and other sources of diversity.
  • Other:  Must be able to pass all background and drug testing screens.
