Announcing Our West Pasco County Expansion

MiraclePlace Pasco

In the past five years, the median rent of a two-bedroom apartment in Pasco County has risen 39% from $1,010 in 2018 to $1,405 in 2023. 28% of low income Pasco renters (16,316 households) are cost burdened and spending 40% of their income on gross rent.

With the increasing needs of struggling families, children and individuals, Metropolitan Ministries has launched a major redevelopment of our campus in Holiday to bring even more lifechanging programs and services to Pasco County – doubling our capabilities and services.

This complete campus revitalization in Pasco will allow us to shelter 48 families, launch a new early childhood learning facility for the community, and a new outreach and prevention center.

New 10,000 square feet Family Support Center

The new 10,000 square foot Family Support Center will offer a food pantry and clothing in a dignified and welcoming environment. Case management will take place behind closed doors, promoting our client’s dignity.

Expansion of Residential housing to 48 Units

A safe haven for families experiencing homelessness, with only 24 family units on campus, the current waitlist for residency is long. Decreasing housing inventory and skyrocketing rental prices drive desperation in families each day. 24 affordable housing units providing a pipeline to self sufficiency.

New Early Childhood Education Center

The new Early Childhood Education Center will provide affordability, safety, education, and food security for children every day. The 10-classroom facility will serve struggling families in the larger community and resident children living on campus.
