FEATURED on FOX NEWS 13: Metro Min and Blue Star Families providing Boxes of Hope to military families
Military spouses experience unemployment and underemployment nearly four times the national rate. With rent increases and inflation, military families are in need of support due to food insecurity. To honor these families that sacrifice so much for our country, we partnered with Blue Star Families by providing 400 Boxes of Hope, along with 400 frozen meats, to the Nourish The Service – an event aiming to serve 400 military and veteran families at Macdill Air Force Base.
“We believe we’re all stronger when we take care of one another,” Blue Star Families was founded by military spouses to empower military families to thrive as they serve. Their mission is to strengthen military families by connecting them with their neighbors – individuals and organizations – to create vibrant communities of mutual support.
