Dear Friend and Partner,

Halfway through 2022, one word is on my heart: Gratitude. You and so many others have rallied generously, and often sacrificially, to help those facing crisis, hunger, and even homelessness. Thank you!

Still, as I write you, we’re all feeling the pain of dramatically rising costs . . . groceries, gas, and especially housing. This has forced many families — those already living paycheck to paycheck — into truly dire circumstances.

Many have already lost their place to live. The rest are worried they’ll soon have no roof over their heads.

Thanks to you, local families are finding a hand up at Metropolitan Ministries. I invite you to take just a moment to read their stories inside. You’ll see how your prayers and generosity are helping give so many a reason to hope.
